  True - We are the only True Christians. However, Jesus is always secondary to YHWH or Yahweh, who we for some reason call Jehovah.

  True, we are just not young-earth creationists
  
  3 Jehovah’s Witnesses do not believe in doctors
  False - Of course we believe in doctors. If we can believe in an invisible sky daddy, surely we can believe in the doctor standing before us in flesh and blood. Talking about which, no we do not take full blood, even though this cost an estimated 50000 deaths since we started disfellowshipping (excommunicating) persons who took a life-saving blood transfusion. New light does allow us to take all fractions though.

  False - As the revised NWT shows, we have eliminated parts that don’t fit our teachings. For example John 8, where Jesus states “He who is without sin, cast the first stone” has been removed, as persons where using it too often when faced with a Judicial Committee. We can’t have that sort of Christ-like compassion.

  True, as the Watchtower of May 1, 2008 points out, witnesses are strongly advised not to use translations other than the New World Translation.

  True, the whole reason we released a revised NWT is to better fit our beliefs. It was rather embarrassing when it came to light that nobody on the translation committee could read a word of Hebrew or Greek. Even Fred Franz, when challenged under oath in court, had to admit it was all Greek to him.

  True, and we also shun our own children, parents or other family and friends. On community involvement, check out the November broadcast on our TV evangelist channel to see how after the typhoon in the Philippines, we only worried about fellow witnesses – and even at that found it more important to make a propaganda film out of it. No, we do not reach out to the community, except for pushing our cult literature, so as to retain our tax exempt status.
  
  8 Jehovah’s Witnesses look down on people of other religions
  True, we even refer to them as Babylon the great. All other religions are false and are controlled by Satan the Devil, but we have “the truth”. Jehovah will soon destroy 99.9% of the earth’s population, only we as true Christians will survive.

  "Friends" are gone

  i have (well had) an extremely small circle of jw friends.

  lots of acquaintances and associates but 2 or 3 i would consider my true friends.

  that list is now 0. yup, once i told them i no longer believe in the org and haven't for a long time, and their attempts to encourage me thru jw lingo and terminologies to "rely on jehovah" and not to "stray away" failed that was pretty much it.

  We've all been there. After having been JWs for over 30 years, before the fade was complete, we lost every last JW friendship. In time you will find better friendships. Hang in there.

  CO Comes Up With A New Way To Be Judgemental...

  at the latest co visit something very strange happened.

  during the meeting with the elders and servants he passed out a copy of a hypothetical publisher card and asked us what we could learn from it.

  upon receiving it i saw that the average hours were pretty good, it had return visits and quite a few bible studies.

  the october 2015 jw broadcast, hosted by gerrit losch is quite positive actually.a lot of focus on "field service" needs to be balanced with other good works - supporting those in need around you - either in the congregation (witnesses) or in your classroom or neighbors (non-witnesses).

  visiting and encouraging the sick and elderly is mentioned.

  jesus parable of the merciful samaritan is highlighted.

  The October 2015 JW Broadcast, hosted by Gerrit Lösch is quite positive actually.
  
  A lot of focus on "Field Service" needs to be balanced with other good works - supporting those in need around you - either in the congregation (witnesses) or in your classroom or neighbors (non-witnesses). Visiting and encouraging the sick and elderly is mentioned. Jesus parable of the merciful Samaritan is highlighted. Let's hope the JWs take this to heart.
  
  Continues then with a couple who simplified their lives. Going from DINK (double income no kids) to Cart Witnessing and Window washing, and now so happy...

  i would get home from work,eat dinner,shower and put on jeans,a shirt and gym shoes to the book study.

  then,one day a letter was read where men would need to wear a suit and tie and the woman would have to wear dresses.

  it was stated in a letter that the change was due to, '' giving a better witness to anyone who would watch us walking into our local congregation or a neighbor's house.''.

  Fun story...before I lead the bookstudy, I once accidentally did not have a tie on (I came straight out of work and the one I normally had spare in the car was misplaced). I am the only brother there, besides the conductor. He tells me that as I don't have a tie on, he cannot let me read and assigns a sister.

  The Org's Chariot Rolls On - Over the Top of People!

  information just received from a reliable source.. here is an example of how the org's "expansion" is being carried out in 3 continents: .

  japan - special pioneers under age 50 are being told they will now only be regular pioneers.barcelona spain - the regional translation (catalan) office is being closed.mexico - special pioneers being told they will only be regular pioneers - no age specified on this one.. the scene of the org's world is changing - rapidly!.

  Special pioneers get the same stipend as Bethel workers..so basically it is a round of cost saving redundancies.

  Amazing that while in the final milliseconds before Armageddon there is no money to continue preaching...guess the stones will have to speak up.

  Interesting that they mention offering the Awake of January, while it will only be available in February. Unless of course they stock them all every other month (more efficient logistics)
